Hi -

I installed an OEM trailer wiring harness on my 2004 Escape - and it only lit up the lights - no signal lights or brake lights -

Dealer has not a clue of what might have happened -

could someone offer advise? - truly apprecait it

Check for voltage at the plug pins at the back of the car (with a volt meter or light or 12V light pin). This will confirm whether its a problem with your car wiring or trailer.

Trailer earthing can be a problem (poor/rusty connenctions).

Thanks - problem is solved - the trailer works fine and so is the grounding - the module was defective in the car and the dealer replaced it with a new one - thanks -
