can any 1 tell me how much i would gain if i put a 350cfm holly carb on a cast iron head or alloy head.

There always seems to be a flat spot with Holley's. But I found a few years ago when I put a Holley 350 and redline inlet on an X.D 6 I didn't have to hardly kick it down to get the thing going quickly.Fuel consumption improved. I would use the X.F carby / inlet.. Plenty at Pick and Pay Less.. Take a good tool box,big enough....

Swapping the single barrel carb for a twin will make a difference on a 250. I have a 465cmf Holly 4bbl on a worked 250 and after proper tuning on a dyno there is a hugh increase. However on a stock engine I think the standard webber from an XE or XF will work better then the Holley because it is already tunned and jetted for the 250.

thanxs for ur help guys and also would a diff ratio of 2.77 lsd make the motor struggle much.
