Question 302 help?

Hey guys, question for anyone that can help. I'm putting a 302 in my 88 mustang. I found two 302's, one is a 90 302 out of a F150, the other is out of a 89 Crown Vic. Can anyone tell me what differences there are between these motors and a 302 from a mustang? ie,heads, pistons,I do know that the upper and lower intake off the mustang is different than the other two, but I still have the mustang one. Thanks very much, hopefully someone can help!

Re: 302 help?

The truck engine will more than likely have a slightly bigger cam than the car. The car engine would probably get along with your current computer better than the truck engine will. If you use the truck engine you might end up with a car that doesnt want to idle very well. Its not because the cam is that much bigger, its just that the computer wont know the difference in cams.
