85 F250 351 auto engine fire

I just got a 85 F250 4x4 351 auto. The carb had a fuel leak at the inlet, the carb,dist,air cleaner,throttle cable,cruise cable and 1 A/C line are toast. I need to know the best way to fix this truck.
1. fact replacement carb $400.00 or can I just put a holley 600cfm on it?
2. fact dist or put an aftermarket
3. should I change to an aftermarket intake

I think a carb,intake and dist (aftermarket) would be alot cheaper then trying to buy factory replacements. One of my problems in buying parts other then factory ones is I don't know which 351ci I have.

Can anyone tell me which 351 I have (W or M ) I know it can't be a "C" at least I wouldn't think it would be one.

If aftermarket is the way to go which parts should I get (names+part #s) I want to fix the truck because it will make a great truck for someone, I have too many cars and trucks now.

Where does the top radiator hose connect to engine, inlet = windsor,front block = Clevo M ??? It may be a Windsor? What bolt pattern are the exhaust manifold bolts?? Inline= Windsor offset= Clevo...
Imo get reco 600 Holley, Wiend [sp] inlet or one thats not too rpm friendly...
