probably had this question before but anyway.
want to know where to start with a turbo on a 87 fairmont ghia.
what is a good turbo?
what price?
what needs to be done to the motor first?
any engine upgrades required?
any info would be appreciated as i know nothing about turbos!

Depends on a lot of things mate. The engine may not need internal mods if it is in good condition and you only plan to use a small turbo and/or low boost. The price will vary depending on whether you use new or secondhand components, whether you want an intercooler and so on. Could be anything from $1500 to the better part of 10 grand!
