how do u check the fluid levels in a nine inch . i cant see any plug holes for this ... all that i see is a breather pipe and hose on one side and on the other is some sort of pipe covered with a metal cap that is loose , this is why i want to check the levels cuz from that loose cap ive have some fluid leak out and i dont know how much ive lost

There should be a level plug on the front LH side of the cast iron carrier, between the flange and the mounting face of the housing.

I would pull the centre out and put a new gasket in as well so this doesn't happen again. Then fill it from an axle tube as it'll be empty and you will know exactly how much goes in! (lazy but it works)
