91' Steering Rack Replacement
I've got the bad rack totally disconnected (inner tie rods are still on unit) but I cannot remove it from the car. What are the easiest things to remove to get this rack out? A Chilton's manual says to drop the exhaust, separate the sway bar ends, and lower the sub-frame 4"!!!!! I need ~3/4" to remove the rack on the driver's side (I'm running into the bottom of the brake booster). Someone tell me I don't have to do this, I got half the rack out the pass. side but the column connection wouldn't clear some stuff. If you've done this job before please help, If not please keep you're opinions to yourself.
Thanks in Advance
