My 97 Aerostar 3.0L keeps displaying the code P0118. I am wondering what exactly is this code for as my code book is very vague.

P0118 is ECT circuit high input. Replace the Engine Coolant Temp sensor. make sure to seal the threads with a THIN coat of silicone or liquid pipe sealer. too much will only make a mess and keep the sensor from grounding properly to the block or manifold.
