gday everyone.

Just recently picked up a 97 EL and would like to know how to make it a bit more enjoyable to drive. I was looking at doing exhaust, suspension and brake mods to start off with and would like to know some good products at a reasonable price.

Nah im in sydney. also being new to the falcon game are there any factory 17 inch wheels that are better than the pie plates i have on there now?

i got a 97 el,and when i got her she sat a bit low and had wheels and a wing so all ive done is,2 1/2 lukey zorst,hiflo cat,ef airboxlid,au3 tickford snorkel,k&n panel filter,and a must in all falcons......an au3 xr leather wheel.i reckon the wheel gave me 10rwkw lol.no seriously the mechanical stuff made a huge difference,crisper throttle response,nice note and better fuel economy.so of ya go young one and enjoy the beauty that is an el falcon.

New to ford game and never really thought about doing mods to a falcon but now i have one and will do for a while. i just want to improve on the basics and see how i go from there (before filling the void on exhaust side of engine with turbo hehe). Im sure ill have lots of silly questions in the future

If you want to make it more enjoyable the best thing to do first would be a decent suspension setup followed by a set of 17's/18's with performance rubber. Not only will you have a blast around the twisties, but you also give yourself a good base vehicle to build upon I.e. it'll be ready for a monster twin turbo setup :)
