[iv]kermit Registered User Join Date: Aug 2004 Posts: 1	97 Escort doesn't read gas anymore 97 Escort doesn't read gas anymore it just read's 1/2 empty (or 1/2 full :) Anyway. I got a fuel pump/sending unit from Motorcroft and am told that I need to replace it in order for my vehicle to properly read gas levels. Anybody have some tips on how to go about replacing it, I already know it's under the back seat (yeah!).
