recently my service engine light has turned on

lately ive noticed a difference in the acceleration because whenever i stop and accelerate normally, the engine wants to stop, so i have to slowly accelerate so it doesnt.

i tried going to autozone to see if they can test it but unfortunately they only rent it out, and screw paying $185.

any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Call around for a parts store that will scan it free and post the codes here. Somebody in your area has to do free scans.
