confused 98 zx2 groaning

i rear ended my friend last week, now when i turn my wheel, my car groans, the further i turn it, the more it groans, i think it's the power steering, but im not sure, the sound comes from where my serpentine belt is, i don't know if theres rubbing or what. also the fluid in the resevior on the front left (as i stand facing the car) bubbles up as i turn the wheel. what is that/ what does that mean?
please help.
thank you

Re: 98 zx2 groaning

do you think it could be some sheetmetal or something rubbing on the tires or the steering assembly? that would be my guess, or you messed up the power steering pump somehow

is he/she still your friend?

Question Re: 98 zx2 groaning

thanks, i'll have to look closer in the morning, is the pump expensive/hard to fix? yeah i guess she's still my friend, it was mostly her fault, and all her truck got was a crushed in bumper, so far i've removed my front bumper, bumper reinforcment, passenger headlight assembly and the header. where is the
power steering pump?
