I have a 99 Town Car that is misfiring the # 5 cylinder.
I pulled the plug and it was oil fouled.
It also spits steam and water droplets out of the tail pipe after reaching operating temperature.
If I let it idle for 5 minutes when I take off it blows white smoke.
It has a rough idle and is rough accelerating but runs smooth at 70 then runs rough going up hills.
Could it be the plastic intake manifold cracked or an intake gasket letting oil and water enter # 5?
I hope it is not a bad head.

It's not the intake manifold or gasket. Need a compression check first.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I broke my arm, wrist and hand.
It was hell doing a one handed compression test so I just checked # 5 and # 6.
Number 5 has 65 lbs of compression and number 6 has 120 lbs of compression.
It is mostly oil in cylinder # 5 that is fouling the plug, the number 6 plug is clean and normal.
I really appreciate any help.

Sounds like head gasket gone .
