Hi,
I have just bought a spoiler second hand. Do you need some padding between the spoiler and the boot lid, or do you just put it straight on the boot??
the ones ive put on have had padding. i know 1 person who doesnt have the padding there and it rattles with the stereo turned up. so it may be worth just chucking some on.
Plus you need the padding to stop water from getting in. It's especially important to do this if it's a spoiler with brake lights, as you will need to drill a hole in your boot to let the brake light wires to run through. I'd recommend thin rubber about 3mm thick. Thin foam will probably seal better however with water and heat it can disinigrate.
I guess I had better just leave it to the spoiler shop to put on...
