Read Advice for better performance

Hey eveyone, new to the forums recently. Mostly because I wanted to get some opinions and advice regarding getting more performance from my 2011 F-150 V6, 3.7L.

Just wondering where a good start would be, recently I have been discussing programmers and tuners with co-workers through out the day. Not sure if that's the proper route to start with. Also I have discussed mufflers and entirely new exhaust systems, aswell as air intakes and filters. Eventually I would like to put a levelling kit, and not lose too much power. I know its just the V6, but I still beleieve the motor can handle a little bit of play, As its built Ford Touch, correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks in advance for any answers or reply's I don't reply to right away, and forum admin's. I apoligize if this is in the wrong spot, if it is, please direct me to the right spot

Thanks again,

2011 F-150 3.7L

Re: Advice for better performance

CAI's and exhaust is always a good place to start. The only other thing really available for the truck is a tune.

2011-2014 F150 3.7L Performance Parts

Of course, I said for the truck...

If you're daring and want to spend money:

ProCharger Supercharger | A 3.7L V6 Mustang Owner Resource for Modifications and Repairs

Of course, this is for the Mustang and modifications may be needed.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?

Re: Advice for better performance

This list of performance upgrades should give you more ideas:
2011-2014 F150 3.7L Performance Parts
Start with CAI, tuners/progs, exhaust, lift kits. Then go for hunting on better deals on these stuffs on sites like,, etc.
