I have a rubber joiner that connects two halves of my air intake pipe.
Does anyone know where in Sydney I can get something to replace it?
What I'm after is a rubber tube with an inside diameter of 75mm and approx 135mm long.
This time though I want it flater without the flexible point (or a smaller one) in the middle as shown below. It's this flexible joint that is rubbing on my bonnet so I need something a little flatter.
I had a look at a wreckers and though I found some concertinaed type joins these were also to tall and would rub as well.
I can't mount the pipe any differently to stop the rubbing so it's the joiner that I'm going to have to replace.
If you cant find it in plastic, just go down to the exhaust shop and get them to cut a piece of 3" (75mm) exhaust in the length you need and paint it black if you want.

It's actually a rubber joiner to join two 75mm steel pipes together (one from the air box and the other from the throttle body) over the top of the engine.
Unfortunately because of this, I need it in rubber to provide flex for the revving of the motor.
Oh okay. I know lots of the 4cyl places like car toys etc do silicon joiners for the intercooler piping. They do them in all sorts of sizes and colours, but the only problem is I don't know if they would have them 135mm long. Worth a try though.
That Clark Rubber idea is the right idea!!! I needed the same thing Jamie for an intake mod that I'm doing on my car and a friend of mine suggested truck hose rather than get it from a Turbo joint (the hose that I needed is what my friend has for his turbo and I was going to get the same that he had coz it was a perfect fit) He paid mega $$$ .... I paid $23 from a rubber joint. Hope that helps. Kristeena
I still haven't had a chance to look yet but I'll definitely include Clark Rubber and Bunnings.
