I have an EB2 Ghia, the air con is only really cold when i'm doing 100km/h, around town at 60 its still colder then having it off but I may as well have the windows down. Could I just need to regas it or could it be something else. Could it be the lower speed or rpms or air flow that causes it to be not as cold?

When was the last time you have had it recharged? It could be as simple as that as you have even pointed out. .

I have only bought the car in sep last year so wouldn't have a clue, I might take it to some aircon place.

Beware of R12 alternatives, eg. 12-Ultra or Hi-Chill. These are refrigerant blends which have a finer molecular structure and can leak out in much shorter time that R12 or R134. If you are still running R12 you're better to bite the bullet and convert it to R134.
