what model intake fits an xh ute that provides a bigger opening??

I was lead to believe the xh ute is the biggest...

Most (me included) opted for this snorkel on our EA-ED sedans/wagons because of it size.

I've been modifying my XH intake snorkle... I'm nearly done so when I am i'll post some pics.

Basically it involves cutting out the devider inside the intake, opening it up to be abit rounder and sealing it up again.

what else have ya done to the ute im gettin the same one as soon as i can find one to buy , this week probably send me some picks and ideas , i need some ideas on where too put my 6x9

With a little bit of work you can make an angled plate to fit behind the seats on the existing parcel shelf. I have made this and 6x9 behind ya ears are awsome ( no need for any subbies here ) As soon as ya can upgrade ya zorst for extractors and freeflow cat tru to mandrel bent 2 3/4" exiting thru 31/2" crome tip just fits inside rear bumper cut out. I have done this to my XH and it sounds ok and goes great. Also think about clear side indicators ( of series 3 au I think ) they also look smick.
Lotsa Ideas just look around and have a go

Apparantly the clear indicators from the NF/L fairlane are the go, they clip straight in.

cool thats not a bad idea. i just bought the ute last night but shes a bit of a high rider lol i think its got the factory raised springs, the low kms (72,000) on the clock and the ****en crazy price of 12,500 thats what swung me into buying it!
