If I was to run an ecu that only controlled fuel as opposed to an ecu that runs both.
Would I loose much tuning ability/power?
The cost difference between the two is about $600 and more of a wiring head ache.
Would I see $600 worth of ability/power gain from the fuel/ignition ecu?

Mate in your case try to buy an eec lV A9L code ..They have all the tuneing worked out for them..Need to buy from U.S though, but they are light enough $50 to $60 by airmail..Plus purchase price...The eec tuner or TwEECer works on them easy...

2DDA,1DDC,1DCE,3DEA,2DCA. all of of these eec's have support for twEECer. they are all aussie eec's, should be able to find one laying around somewhere, wreckers ect....

Imo it would be better if ecu was "all in one" so they can talk to each other...
I"m open to debate that tho ???

i've got a 1ddc eec in my car, which uses the a9l strategy, i dont know what you mean "by all in one".
