$2000 for a stock MAF is WAY TOO MUCH!!!!
You can actually get the car to work without the MAF... if you unplug it - the car will go into "Limp Home mode" and will work better than it does with a faulty MAF.
I just picked up a 2nd hand 75mm MAF for $200. One of the guys in the club got a 2nd hand 55mm MAF for $100.
I am sure you can get a better price!
Just look for a 55mm MAF with a sample tube to suit 19lb injectors, and thats what you are after.. (unless you want to upgrade to 60mm... but the EEC would need time to adjust.)
