Hey the CFI does suck but my dads old EA CFI 5spd still has some poke to it really don't think the motor is standard though cause every time I borrow it (still waiting for insurance payout) I manage to be suprised.
I draged and beat a VN V8 auto on the way to work and the guy wasn't happy.

Ive actually driven both and I dont notice all that much difference, except maybe a smoother acceleration characterisitic....
What diff ratio was the first MPFI attached to?

All 3 speeds EAs were 2.77, manuals 2.92.

Do you realise you wil be able to do over 80km in 1st gear with a 2.77 Jack?

Yes that's correct. I worked out that if you push a bit past the redline you'll do over 100 km/h in first.

But that's not always a good thing
