cut into it with a grinder to fit a xf .
almost bought genuine but could not bear to cut it up .

maybe you could try making it yourself? a bumper shouldnt be too bad, especially if you were going to modify the other one anyway. There is some special foam stuff that you use - it is quite hard and you can carve it and sand it etc. to the shape you want, then simply add fibreglass, bog up any imperfections, sand prime, paint! Then you can remove the foam from the inside. I cant remember what the foam stuff is called, but most panel shops or fibreglass joints would know.

5 of us made an entire diablo shell out of this stuff in our fibleglass class at high school - it gets around on a VW chassis now! Looks schmicko though

I'm pretty sure the stuff you're referring to is called "core-thane" - it's used to make freezers etc.

yeh that might be the stuff, but if anyone uses it test the resin on the foam before you start. If it eats the foam stuff away then its the wrong stuff and you will end up with a huge mess!
