For anyone considering a new intake for CFI engines.. A crazy idea..
I was just cleaning my car and I decided to pull the CFI air cleaner setup off and clean the injection manifold under it - then I started thinking about a different intake as some of the others have done..
A bit of research and I've come to the following idea ->
The pipe for a rampod needs to be around 10cm diameter and have a length of 65cm in order to give it a 5L capacity to stop vaccum so I have read somewhere. I was thinking that this would be a piece of piss to get a bit of 4" aluminium irrigation pipe (free from down the paddock) and get it made up to fit. Put a pod filter on the end and duct it into the area where the airbox usually sits. I haven't thought about the cold air bit yet tho... Don't know how well it would work either really..
