anyone know about VL's?

simple story.
my mate got the typical 86 manual VL.
he has just added genie extractors and 2.5" exhaust.
i gotta beat him :)

just wondering how much power increase he got now?

some people said not much, others have different ideas.

Mate of mine not long ago had a typical 86 red VL manuel
Must of been a good one out of the bunch, cause that one went real hard.
We went to fast fit and got extractors (not sure on the brand), a new cat, and full exhaust, and this thing went pretty hard.. had real good take off, but my ea slowly was catching up around 80 kmh..Don't under estimate them, they are a really like car, especially if it's only an executive..

standard they had 114KW and weigh about 1250Kg. But i think they only have about 240-250Nm of torque.

haha man my mate has a red 86 vl manual too.
such a common car...

it has only done 45000 k's which is a joke.
i swear it is a replacement engine or some shit, cos the rest of the car well and truly looks like its been used a hell of alot more than that!
