Hey,

My car hasn't got any compliance plates, and for a vin its got one of those police numbers instead. Would the original VIN be stamped on the body/chassis anywhere?

It might be stamped in the top of the passenger side front shock tower

there are (were) some numbers infront of the shock tower but they have been scratched off.

Well its a EB1 then, the '25' in the Vin means pre 4/92. Post has 'SW' instead. 25 also means S-pac

Is there another letter after the 'K'? And are you sure its correct? 'K' means 1989 build....
