i should know for sure in a few days.Thinking back the tailshaft that i have was out of a 9 inch/c10 setup, and i thinking that the gearbox is same length as a toploader:s6: :s6: well, hoping anyway!!:s3

You mean a C4. There is no such thing as a C10 or a C9.
But yes I had a 'loader and then an AOD and than a C4...used the same shaft for all.
sorry, im not much of an auto fan (obviosly). All i know is that it was auto and it started with C, and about a week after i sold it too a bloke it blew up :s3 :s3 :s3 :s3 , probably cos of his driving style:s3 :s3

I'm the same I don't like em much(auto's) but I'm probably going to use a C4 behind the 391 because it costs too damn much for a strong manual gearbox.
