AU1SIXA Senior Events Moderator Join Date: Feb 2002 Age: 32 Posts: 1,710	Au Lubericant Changes?? Another post i have for you guys. Im thinking of draining my diff on the Au This weekend along with a few other jobs i have planned for her. Whats fluid should i replace it with and how much is needed also do i add any addative aswell. Also when i get my transmission fully flushed again would it be worth using a synthetic trans oil or just stick with whats reccomended. Im very intrested. Also i was running some 10w - 40 semi synthetic in here and she then started tapping a little. I changed oil and filter again with Some Penrite 5w - 40 and the ticking has decreased a hell of a lot. I also suspected it could have had something to do with the cheap shit filter i had wont be doing that again learn by your mistakes.
