what is involved in putting AU offset rims on a EB?? Is it doggy or illegal.

This has been brought up quite a few times. Just do a search on the topic, but the basics are, yes it is dodgy, and in many states it is illegal. You can buy spacers but they can end up breaking wheel studs. The proper adaptor plates are expensive, from memory around $200 each rim.

i got quoted $1660 for 4 wheels and tyres at the tyre factory for the AU 2 XR ones.
no series 1 AU XR wheels for older falcons :(
