Question AU series 1 v series 2, whats the difference

I have to buy a new ecu and need to know the difference between series 1 & 2 (VCT)

Would there be any advantages updating to latter specs and what else besides the ecu would need to be changed

Not much difference as far as pcm programming between the two. Updates are usually made if problems exist & the VCT was pretty good to start with. If AUI is cheaper than AUII pcm ,you could have it recallibrated.
