AU Ute Question

Well i was stuffing around with my ute today, as im still considering putting the fog lamps on it. Anyways the little plastic thing where the boot release and fuel cap release buttons are (on sedan and wagon models) has two wires like stuck in behind it on mine. Does anyone know what theses wires are for, or are they just the wiring loom out of the sedan?

They arent connected to anything, but the are snuggly fitted in behind there.
