AU V8 Injector Coil Resistance

Does anyone out there know what the injector coil resistance is for an Ser I AU XR8 motor.

High resistance around 16 to 17... Correct ???

No idea - that's why I'm asking! I need it to establish whether an ECU I can get my hands on will be appropriate to drive them...

But thanks! Hopefully someone can confirm this.

I have checked and nearly all high resistance is around 15 to 17..Ford & Nissan any way..
What sort of ecu ???

Thanks for that.

Autronic SM2, older version that apparently can't necessarily cope with all injector types.

If anyone has any experience in wiring one of these up on an AU I V8 Motor in an EL, I'm all ears (Like Prince Charles :-)

try asking www.mrtrally.com.au
High impedance is the most common. Only exotics or real high output engines us low imp..

Like most all Fords, AU Injector impedance(resistance is not technically the correct term) is high @ 12-14 ohms. Your Autronic(or just about any other aftermarket ECU) should be fine with them.
