I was interested in buying APs TB & MAF, until I measured the ones on my car. They are the same as what he had specified for the 220KW XR motor (78mm internal diameter for both). I have a mate who has a 200KW XR8, and his part numbers are the same as mine. Also, fuel injectors on both cars are blue.

My question is - does anybody know what the standard size TB and MAF are on a standard (175kw) AU V8. I'm guessing mine are standard, but then again they may not be.

Also, while I think of it, what colour injectors do the 220KW XR8s have?

I responded to you in the for sale section, but I will repeat it just in case. You measurement of 78mm is at the opening of the TB. It goes down to 65mm at the blade. All non 220kw AU V8's (185kw and 200kw) have the 65mm TB part number F8RU-AA.

I believe all AU V8's have 24lb injectors.

I honestly don't know about the MAF, but the TB should be worth at least a couple of kw. The computer will adapt to it no problems.

The MAF is 70mm and the throttle body is 65mm. If it's a 220kw then the throttle body is 70mm.

Also early series 1 XR8's had orange 19# injectors.
