HI.
Ive just been given a set of au xr h/l covers .
How does one line them up to put the inner screws in
i have asked a few others and was told it would cost around $100 to have a ford dealer put them in ( what a rip off) so if anyone has a way of putting them in I would be greatful
Yeah i don't like them either. If you want to protect your headlights theres clear plastic skins (sortof a contact material) that goes on the head lights and almost undetectable.
Yes don't like them as well, buuuuut I got a demo couple of mths back and their on, poop me orf when i noticed they put the self tappers through the headlight recess......
I suppose i'll get them filled and repainted down the track..
They may not look the best but it's gotta be better than replacing headlights due to stone chips etc. Probably not a problem in city driving but a definite one in rural areas.
WOW!! What a response I do cruise out in the country( not dirt of course) my car is black and being the shovel nose look it is prone to stone chips hence i have a cracked driving light( B- doubles give me the gripe never stay on the road passing lanes TOO far apart) this is why i was given the covers any how $50 sounds better than $100 to fit or maybe take the nose off and put them on that way.
Thankx for the replies
