Hey All,

My AU1 S Pak currently has the "waterfall" or "sharktooth" grill as we all affectionly know it...its colour coded, but i see a lot of AU1 sedans going around with a different grill,its divided up into squares..mostly found on the AU1 Classic and AU XLS utes. Anybody know how much that grill costs?. And if i ordered it from ford how much would it be?. Anybody know what color it comes in new?.

A number of dealers installed the ute grille on sedans and wagons when the cars were new.
Dunno about price, but you are better off contacting your local dealer, as prices vary.
From past experience, the part would be grey and require painting.

For another option, have a look at the AU Hawk grill on the ute at the new-gel web site:

The ford grilles go for about $60 each unpainted.

I see youve put the grill on yours BlueAU? It looks a lot better dosent it! And the clear side indicators...how much did they set you back?

$60 sounds reasonable...and it does look a lot better. I doubt ford would stock any that are already painted at all perhaps? Anybody know?

Nah they dont have painted ones unfortunately mate, ive got one on mine because a few month ago i connected with a crow and luckily that is all he smashed, ive just been too lazy to colour code it again. Im thinkin about picking up the C2R front grille pretty soon anyway.

The clear side indicators are like $15 bucks for the pair and that includes orange bulbs.

I should really get some updated pics up somewhere now that the car has had a respray and new wheel lol.

I dont think it would cost heaps if i got a panel shop to spray up the grill for me so i might do that! And whack some clear indicators on!
