Has anyone gotten rid of the Window Chatter in their AU2's yet or not. What has Ford done for you people who have been experiencing the problem. Does this problem only occur in the winter time?

My AU3 ute doesnt do it at all, but im interested to know just incase it does later on.

Err dont quote me on this, but Silicon spray is pretty good at window rattles - used it on a bluebird sss once, fixed the problem. And no, I dont drive a bluebird.

I just bought some silicon spray to try and cure the infamous window chatter on mine. We'll see how it goes.

But yes if theres a permanent fix i'd like to know what it is, perhaps the AUIII window seals.

Don't have window chatter on my ute that I can hear (above the vibration!) but the driver door seal makes a slight squeeking noise when my bloody vibration is happening. Just took it in for a service and there was a slight misalignment from the door to the cabin, so that fixed that and it is ok.

I tell you what, its a bloody nuisance.

You can move the door latch striker inward more, this will stop it.
(But make the doors slightly harder to close).

I tried all sorts of rememdies including foam, silicon spray, everything...

The only thing that has fixed the problem is moving the striker inward.

I tell you what was better than silicon spray, Nulon X-L90 Lubricant.. it will stop the chatter!
