i picked up my AU engine today after work. its got 36000k's on it, and all up cost me $1250.
$950 for the engine, (with inlet-exhaust manifolds, throttle body, fuel rail/injectors etc), and $300 for the AU bellhousing, aircon pump, idler pulleys, au power steer pump, au alternator, and a few other small bits and peices.
tomorrow after work i'm pulling out the EB motor, and bolting in the new motor. i've given myself untill sunday evening to have the car driveable.
i'll take pics(and post them) of any mods i have to make, any problems i might come across, or anything i think might be of interest to anyone else wanting to do this conversion. stay tuned...... and wish me luck lol
So this AU engine is going into an EB? Oh yeah, bring it on! I have an EA that needs engine replacement so I am VERY interested in how this would work out. Pics too? - excellent
May the force be with you.

Any questions guys .. any one needs just ask... Its a very good conversion when done...
Just watch the clearance to the front bar, a light grind on the engine and a litle slight hammer work and you should get enuf clearance.. Since youre using all the au pulleys and bolt ons you shouldnt run into to much trouble...
(you will need a different plug for the au alternator to)

when its all finished you should write up a full tutorial which would include all probs and everything encountered, solutions, and things you needed and then get it made into a Sticky for future reference to anyone that wants to do it.
