AUII XR6 HP Drivebelt Cover
Well this is more of a cosmetic addition than anything else but i've just fitted and now tested the EF drive belt cover to JXR01. A part that should of always been on the AUII/III XR6 HP's.
Definitly a neat and affordable way to enhance the engine appearance of AUII/III 6 pack falcons as it really make the engine look alot more tidier and more modern looks right at home next to the BA intake too.
This cover was used in the AU1 but was deleted for cost measures on the AUII and in it's replacement was a small splash shield like the ones used on EA-ED falcons.
The parts consisted of:
Cover Eng Front: EF 6C095 A
Locknut Free Run M6: W 707275 S309
Stud Double Ended: V 800466 S57B
All up it costed $38.90. Fitting is quite simple with just the removal of the old splash cover and installing the double ended thread into the thermostat housing then fitting the cover on with the nut to secure.
Will post piccies when i get hold of a digi cam.
Cheers,
Gary.
