AUIII XR8 Stalling

Hi All. Hope Im doing this right. Never joined forum before. I am proud owner of AUIII XR8 220 with Rebel Body Kit, premium sound. However I recently took it on a 400 Km trip interstate on a 43 degree day, and when a I got to the first set of lights in the city the car stalled. RAA guy said it was most likely ignition module, however although in the early stages Ford Dealer were unable to pin point problem. It was a Really Hot day. But once it started playing up you can only travel 1 km or so before it stops again. Latter that same day when the Temp dropped approx 10 degrees (1.00 AM) the car travelled the 400 km journey back home again without missing a beat. The RAA guy was eartin it was the Ignition Module.

Thanks for letting me introduce myself.
