I have an EF II Fairmont Ghia, running the Tickford motor, I was wondering if any of you have done this kind of conversion before and whats involed. I have spoken to lots of people, but no one can tell me for sure if I need to change the computer or the centre console.
Computer has to be changed and I'm pretty sure a clutch pedal bracket needs to be welded in. As for the console, I'm sure you could get away with just replacing the T-bar surround, however I think this part would be the least of your problems.
Have fun, and keep us uptp date if you go ahaead with it as Im thinking of doing the same thing in the neer future.
Hi EFGHIA you will need to change the computer you will also need a pedal box which is a direct bolt in, gearbox loom and different console surround. If you live in Victoria I have a T5 gear box for sale so let me know.
