Auto noise!!

Hi guys, since I had my cam and exhaust done on my ef fairmont, I have been driving a little harder than i used to, (without abusing her)..

in the last 2 weeks i have noticed a "rattle or vibration" coming from the auto when it is gently accelerating, at around 1500-2000 rpm...
it only occurs when accelerating and in this rev range,

but last night i heard a noise which was more distressing, when accelerating more briskly, it shifted from 1st to 2nd, and i had to back off a little as i approached an intersection, it made a loud squealing noise as it upshifted when i let off the gas, the auto is due for a fluid change, but im afraid it could be more than this, any-one recommend an auto specialist in melbourne who are good with performance fords?

Hi roTor
I've got an ef auto as well and have
noticed backing off completely after a hard acceleration will make the box up change savagely straight into top gear making it give out a bit of a groan.I don't think the box likes it.What I try to do is hold 3rd if I'm gonna give it a squirt and not back off
completely but gradually, this seems to do the trick.servicing the box every 20k's helps
a lot too. Can't recommend anyone cause I'm in Sydney.good luck

thanks Blu...yeah I have booked it in at Herrods tomorrow..thoise guys know their stuff..they will adjust anything they find out of tune, and give it a basic service, Rob mentioned theat the Ford autos are pretty tough, and he doesnt usually recommend modifying them in any way, as they tend to be pretty sturdy,..I hope they can locate the prob....
I am a real stippler for noises in my car, i hate creaks and rattles..

I might get em to dyno it again whilst it is there for good measure..
