Autolite 985's in Brisbane

Just got an email from Wayne Munce, from Holts Honeywell, who apparently distribute Autolite plugs, and he reckons that you can get them at

Peformance Wholesale in Slacks Creek (07) 3808 1986
or
Aussie Auto (07) 3818 1818

By that I am assuming that you can get them at any Aussie Auto store.

Dan..

Re: Autolite 985's in Brisbane

Also 985's are the standard replacement plug for 94-2000 Jeep Cherokees which also have an I6 4L engine (I think).

And the NGK equivalent part number is ZFR4F-11 or ZF4A-11, although not sure the difference between those two?

Re: Autolite 985's in Brisbane

Guys and gals,

Just called up Aussie Auto at Goodna, and Performance Wholesale at slacks creek, and asked whether they stock Autolite plugs - both said no. Aussie Auto kind of hinted that they may be able to find out but basically suggested trying elsewhere first. Performance Wholesale said flat-out no.

If anyone else has any luck with these guys post up and let us know a first name of the person you spoke to.

Cheers

Well don't I feel like a dick..

Guess goes to show that even though the words may come from the horses mouth, it may bypass through the arse..

Sorry guys..

I'm still curious about the NGK equivalent though.. I wonder if its physically the same?

Re: Autolite 985's in Brisbane

No worries Axeman. I found them at Noels Auto Parts. Ordered them Friday, total cost of a bit over $30 including postage to Brissie.

Will see how they go
Cheers

Re: Autolite 985's in Brisbane

All, received the spark plugs in the mail on Friday, and installed them on the weekend. I had to set the gap on all of the plugs, and once installed they went fine. Cheers
