Bass Crazy

Hey guys and gals.

I'm after a few switches for the inside of my car. I'm having some trouble finding some that actually look good. I have been to Autobarn, Dick Smith, Jaycar and I can find any good looking switches.

There going to be quite visible inside the car.

Has anyone come across anything (In Melb) that could help me out?

Don't know what you want them for, but Repco sell a range of Narva switches that look pretty good. They have demister ones, driving light ones etc.

revolution racegear on whitehorse rd has some pretty nice ones at a reasnoble price i bought like 3 for 6.50 or something like that and they look mad too

If you want some mad, proper aviation switches, i can source a few from my contacts at Qantas.....

Im talking the full on red cover, flip up to arm kinda deal.......

That'd make a nice switch to either

1) turn on a nitrus switch
2) activate linelockers
3) dissconect front amps for SPL comps

Im going to be using them for:

Ignition (im making up a new panel and will manually start my car via a series of switches........fuel, accesories, ignition etc), and some massive spotlights perhaps.

I like their rice value personally :)

yep basically. Just have the red cover on them which you need to flip up, then the switch can be operated.

Im not sure as yet if I can get them directly thru an airline, but I know i can get them from their actual supplier. apparenly they arent cheap, but you never get anything cheap when it comes to aircraft....

Revolution racegear do something very similiar im told....

i dunno how safe i would feel if my car was started with a few switches

but if this was done in paralell with the key in the ignition itd be kewl
