Hi All,

I know there are two locking methods.. All Unlock and Just drivers door (then a second press to unlock the rest). Apparently the first remote by default goes for all unlock and second just drivers door.

I've got the first remote on my BA falcon.

I find it strange as you can lock all the doors with the lock button on the remote, then press it again and it seems to lock again - but on the third press of the button the horn beeps (telling you all doors are locked).

Anyone know why it doesn't sound the horn on the second press of the button? What is the difference between the first press and second?

I'm pretty sure the second remote doesn't default to drivers door only unlock.
I'm guessing that the horn doesn't sound on the second lock attempt is for occations when people who aren't sure they locked the car & they can check & won't annoy light sleeping neighbours.
