Question Ba Xr Front End

hi all

may seem like a stupid question...

have just baught myself a standard AU1 futura. Unhappy with the stock look of the car i almost immediately headed out and got some 17" AU2 XR8 rims thrown on (huge improvement).

Now that thats done its on to a bodykit! Ive done a fair bit of looking around and have been pretty disappointed with the range when it comes to front bumper replacements (love the look of the AU2 XR front end but am trying to avoid having a fake XR parked in the garage but more something original).

Ive already decided on the AU2 XR side skirts and rear bumper extension and the AU1 XR double wing boot spoiler, but still undecided on whats happening with the front.

I, as im sure all of you have, recently saw all the pictures of the new BA XR and am pretty damn impressed, my question is (yes i was comming to one) what do you think my chances are, with some modification (filling in the "M3" headlight scoops and altering the grill), of attaching the new BA XR front bumper to an AU? and if you blokes think it would look any good?? (would also get the headlight surrounds painted black like the TS50)

any of your thoughts would be great!
cheers

Firstly, I'd think that you would have to do alot of panel beating/swapping because the BA is squarer than the AU at both the front and rear ends.

Though however I'm sure a specialist bumper maker/repairer could do a BA XR design so that it would fit onto the AU - just like you see VS Commodores with VT kits and etc...
