Back probing?

Hey whats back probing? im trying to follow the instructions in my owners manual to check out if my oxygen sensor is fine or not. I have no idea what it means, they say to use a paper clip, so im guessing shoving the chips to the terminals but i cant see anything to shove the clips into? :)

I have an EL falcon I6 btw.

Re: Back probing?

Try the plug.Squeeze the paper clip down beside the appropriate wire. Youll probably need to get a analouge multimetre to test the oxysesor as most digital ones wont read the changes in voltage quickenough.
