The backlight in my EL's lcd which shows the k's on the car has stopped working

the LCD itself works fine, still shows the k's, etc.. but i cant see it in the dark.. hehe :)

Any quick fix or do i have to pull the whole dash apart?

time to put a new globe i think.....

I hope your parts man gives you the right globe holder - there's no fun in having the dash apart and the holder (which of course you take as gospel that it's the right one) doesn't fit. Back to Ford tomorrow to get the proper one AHHHH!

But yes it is only a blown globe and it's only 30 mins with a screwdriver to replace.
