Should I be using the oil ford recommend in my BA2 turbo Castrol GTX3 15w40, and should my car be using much in the first 10000km???

I got 7500k's on mine and it hasnt burnt a drop. I hope to do an oil change on it in the next week or two. I think you would be right with the GTX3 especially if Ford recommend it.

Thanks Glen will just have to keep an eye on it. Maybe it is using some or maybe they didn't fill it to the upper limit when serviced, as i've had with some motorbikes?
