Re: Bugatti
There is a bit of a story behind this car. VW boss Ferdinand Piech wanted to beat the MacLaren F1 roadcar (still the fastest production road car of all time, since it knocked Jaguar's stunning XJ220 off its perch) before he retired.
I remember back in the early '90s, Bugatti made a car called the EB110S. It had a V12 engine with 5 valves per cylinder for a total of 60 valves (this new car has 16 cylinders and 64 valves - if it had 5 valves per cylinder it would have 80!). It also had 4 turbos, but it, along with the beautiful EB112 (I think it was called) sedan, never got anywhere due to financial problems within the company. Good to see the marque is still alive.
