There is something about performance mods that i really
dont understand. Ive read many posts on people wanting
their EA's to make a 'big V8 noise'... Why the hell would ya
want this??? If i could, id want a big powerfull car but one
that is as quiet as a taxi. Think about the commie next too
ya at the lights. He'd be thinking that yer gonna get whipped.
Next thing u know, you blast the shit out of him. Wouldnt that
be fun? Whats more, people dont know how hard you need
to push yer car either, coz they wont hear the loud noises
comin from yer exhaust at 5000rpm. Thats my ideal anyhow..

I not only want ppl to see me wastin a commodore, i also want ppl to LOOK at me wastin the commodore! The sound of a car is what attracts the initial interest.....u just gotta have the performance to back up the sound (unlike ME!)

Same with stereos, big bass attracts attention.....I like my music loud tho, i like bass, and well.....i like the sound of an EA with exhaust! Its a personal thing

the exhaust is the LAST thing i would mod on my car, i want the thing to be quiet as... a nice highway cruiser, low noise, but high power.. thats my ideal.

I have said this countless times, while a loud exhaust may sound cool, it'll only sound cool on someone elses car. I heard Keegel's car when he first got it, and I liked it a lot. But after driving around in it it got annoying. I couldn't live with it.

I've got a big loud sports exhaust on my car, the only reason I got it tho was cos it was actually cheaper than a stock system. Saving money is my number one priority

well most performance exhaust systems are naturally fairly loud, and why would you want to soften the sound? i love the sound of a loud sweet note exhaust (of course not all loud exhausts sound good). My ea and ef both have fairly loud exhausts and the sound never bothers me.

p.s you should hear the ef, the exhaust sounds as hollow as buggery.

i have to say on a personal level...noise is good
my EA aint no powerhouse...but it does alright...and it sounds awesome for a simple $180 exhaust system

i dropped a skid after giving a mate a lift home...all he could say was that shit sounded awesome...

i like my car..but would like an even better/bigger sound
anyone have any tips for making big noise?.. umm..the cheaper the better...:)

Each to their own, i have a 2.5 to a 3inch tailpie with one ultra flow muffler and pacemaker headers. you know why... cause i like having a loud car, isnt that fair enough?
