Been doing a bit of work on the EF lately, to slowly bring it up to speed.. now its time get a stereo in this thing, so i set to work to make up some pods for the new front speakers.
I tried to make them look as stock as possible, so replacing the map pocket on the front door trims was the go. Bit of MDF, FG, Bog, and a fair amount of work and thats the finished product!
Very nice, the EF/EL door trims are the absolute best to make pods. How do they sound? Oh and did you do the vinyling yourself? Top job :) Now I can;t wait to get started on mine
looks fantasic mate, btw, what are those speakers? and, does (the pods appears to stick out a fair way) the pod get in the way of your legs and the accelerator.

-i got a friend (a pro upholsterer) to do the vinyling. he stitched a seam around the ridge of the pod, looks the goods.
-the speakers are fine in relation to your legs, no worries when driving.
-the speakers are hertz mille series 3 ways. currently only running of my HU in 2way, as i dont have 3 way crossovers and im trying to buy new amps...
We installed a set of 2 way Hertz hsk's into my mates car (one series down from mille) and they sound absolutely nuts, especially for the price. Can't wait to hear these when there properly setup.
